Dr. Sahan Nanayakkara is dedicated to bring optimal healthcare to all of his patients, with a broad range of experience across various healthcare settings.

He completed his internship and residency years at Royal North Shore Hospital, followed by rural work in oncology at Tamworth Base Hospital. He has a strong interest in aged care medicine and palliative care, having worked as a palliative care trainee at Hornsby Hospital, and has also trained in both general paediatrics at Northern Beaches Hospital and Emergency Paediatrics at Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Sahan is committed to providing high-quality healthcare and creating clear, personalised treatment plans for patients of all ages. He values good communication and strives to make sure his patients feel heard and supported.

Outside of work, Dr. Sahan enjoys playing sports, cooking, watching films, and playing the piano. He is excited to bring his skills and experience to help the local community.
